How to Deposit using Capitec Pay
- On the AO Pay Payment Page, Select Capitec Pay
- Enter One of the following to login
- South African ID Number
- Capitec Bank Account Number
- Cellphone Number linked to Capitec Bank Account
- Approve the transaction on your Capitec banking app
My Capitec Pay transactions get Declined
If your Capitec Pay transactions are getting declined, please check the following:
- You have sufficient funds available in your chosen account
- Your Capitec Pay method could still need to be activated on your Capitec App:
- Open your Banking App, log in and click on “Transact”
- Scroll Down and click on Capitec Pay
- Click on Manage Merchants and make sure your Capitec Pay is Activated.
- Open your Banking App, log in and click on “Transact”
How long does it take?
Capitec Pay transactions take less than a minute to complete and the transaction is completely immediately after approval
Are there any limits?
Capitec Pay transactions are limited to R 100,000.00 per transaction
Do all merchants accept Capitec Pay?
Only merchants that have been approved by Capitec can accept Capitec Pay Transactions
